Ex-HMRC boss Hartnett appointed as Deloitte consultant

Dave Hartnett, the immediate former HMRC permanent secretary of tax, has been appointed as a consultant for Deloitte. A Deloitte spokesperson said he would be advising foreign governments and tax administrations, primarily in the developing world.

Dave Hartnett, the immediate former HMRC permanent secretary of tax, has been appointed as a consultant for Deloitte. A Deloitte spokesperson said he would be advising foreign governments and tax administrations, primarily in the developing world. Deloitte added Mr Hartnett would work one day a week, and that he would not work with UK companies or HMRC.
