2023, an HMRC taskforce has been focusing on clearing post over 12 months old.
Agents registered
for the agent account manager service can use HMRC’s agents’
issue resolution service online form to escalate any ‘client-specific
issues or problems’, including chasing up post that is more than 12 months old.
HMRC reviewed
this initiative at the beginning of August 2023 and has decided to continue its
availability, reports the
ICAEW. No end date has been given.
