The second reading of the Bill introducing the regional NICs holiday for new businesses is set to take place in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 23 November.
Detailed guidance on the employers’ NICs holiday, which was launched in September, is provided on the Business Link website.
The Bill also provides for an increase in the rates of NICs paid by employees, employers and the self-employed, by one percentage point, from 6 April 2011.
