The National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Regulations, SI 2019/603, increase the principal hourly rate of the national minimum wage from £7.38 to £7.70 from 1 April 2019. The hourly rate for workers aged 18-21 increases to £6.15; for those under 18 it increases to £4.35; and the apprentice rate increases to £3.90. The accommodation offset increases to £7.55 per day.
