The Petroleum (Transfer of Functions) Regulations, SI 2016/Draft, will transfer oil and gas licensing and certain taxation functions from the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change to the new Oil and Gas Authority. They also provide for the transitional period until responsibility for onshore oil and gas licensing in Scotland is transferred to Scottish Ministers.
