What’s the most challenging aspect of your job?
It’s probably keeping a team motivated and trying to get everyone to pull in the same direction.
People who do tax tend to be very bright with strong personalities and if they’re successful they tend to really believe in what they’re doing.
But that can make it more difficult to persuade a team of individuals to go down one particular route.
What advice would you give to someone entering the profession?
Don’t expect instant success and remember it’s a long-term career.
There will be frustrations along the way but if you stick at it then before too long you will look back and see that all your hard work has paid off.
