The Office of Tax Simplification (OTS) has published a call for evidence for its review of ways to make tax easier for individuals through smarter use of third-party data. The review will consider whether and in what ways it could be helpful to individuals for different sources of third-party data to be submitted to HMRC on their behalf and will explore any concerns individuals may have and how these could be overcome. Responses are invited by 9 April 2021.
