  • Relief at source―notification of residency status report for 2022–23: scheme administrators can now download their January 2022 notification of residency status report from the Secure Data Exchange Service. The report will be available for download for six days from the date it is made available.
  • Normal minimum pension age: further detail on the proposed increase in the normal minimum pension age (from 55 to 57) from 6 April 2028 and the new 2028 protection framework.
  • Extension of certain temporary changes to relief at source processes: HMRC will continue to accept various scanned relief at source forms until 31 March 2024 (but other temporary changes for relief at source will end on 31 March 2022).
  • Qualifying Recognised Overseas Pension Schemes: reminders for QROPS managers of the conditions for maintaining QROPS status, including for administrators considering an overseas transfer.
