HMRC’s Wealthy team is sending out letters to a number of agents inviting them to participate in a phase two trial of the Wealthy Compliance Portal (WCP) for their wealthy clients.
The first phase of the WCP trial concerned the concept and functionality of the system. The second phase now expands the pool of agents to test potential demands and requirements for the system before wider testing takes place.
Meetings with the Big 4 accounting firms about their clients’ participation in the WCP trial took place earlier this autumn.
