Taxation of non-domiciled individuals

 
On 19 August 2016 HM Treasury published a further consultation on reforms to the taxation of non-UK domiciled individuals. This latest condoc contains an update on the proposals that were published in the original consultation on deemed domicile reform in 2015.
 
Despite hopes by some that Brexit might lead to a deferral or shelving of the proposals the main changes are going ahead as set out in the original consultation. However there are some welcome concessions including the following.
