The annual Henry Stewart Conference Studies Small Self-Administered Pension Arrangements Briefing was held in London in February 2004 and attended by 150 pensions practitioners involved with small self-administered pension schemes (SSAS). Much of the Conference was devoted to the second consultation document from the Inland Revenue (December 2003) on the simplification of pension schemes and the effect it would have on SSAS. A team from the Revenue was available throughout the day during the panel sessions to answer questions in considerable detail on the proposals...
